Butterfly Project by Julia

Good morning everyone
We would like to share with you this FANTASTIC project
created by one of our Members in
the lovely

Julia used . . .

Modge Podge Glue,
matt and sparkle
MDF circle
Grey board circle,centre cut out
Pale Yellow emulsion paint
Variety of papers in blue, yellow, green, lilac, pink dark green butterfly decopatch paper
Butterfly dies from tonic (taken from corner dies I think)
Memory box, All Occasion , Tattered lace.
Stamp from inkylicious

Julia explains how she made it . . .

''I painted the MDF circle yellow and prepared the greyboard with Modge Podge glue, put he the decopatch paper on the greyboard and left to dry. Then sanded the edges and glued it to the MDF, I cut out a range of butterflies using the different papers, I used a hot glue gun to place the butterflies, trying to spread the colours evenly, I stamped the phrase on a circle of pale yellow card cut in a circle. Used Modge Podge glue over the paint set the printed phrase in the centre and then used the mat glue over the top.''

Thank you for sharing this beautiful project with us all Julia
