'Blog of the Week' Winner

As you probably know, if your in our group, we have a little competition 'BLOG of the WEEK', our winner this week as Tracy Gould, well done Tracy.

I asked Tracy a few questions to help us get to know her

1. What crafts do you do?

Well, I mostly make cards, but I am addicted to atc's and
have been making and collecting them since 2005. I also
like to paint with watercolours, Winsor and Newton and my favourite wc paper is Bockingford rough. I cross stitch
at the start of Autumn right through to Spring. I'm having
another go at altered art and i'm also having a go at art journaling at the moment as well. I do a bit of Scrapbooking with my Craft Artist digi programme and digi kits from Daisytrail...love it...and I am currently involved in three Circle Journals over on the
UKScrappers forum.

2. How long have you been crafting and why did you start?

I've been crafting for about 10 years this September and it was mostly down to a couple of craft magazines that caught my attention, I thought to myself, I could do that. I joined a local craft group and then QVC and C&C came along...oh yes...and the internet and that was it, I was hooked.

3. How would you describe your style of craft?

My style of crafting...is not set...I still feel as though I'm learning with some things and improving on others...if that makes sense.

4. Who / what is your inspiration?

I would have to say my Mum. My Mum had always been creative, she'd make me and my sisters rag dolls out of scraps and wool for Christmas, with not much money coming in the 70's and mid 80's, she was a mend and make do sort of person and it taught us to appreciate everything. 'Waste not, want not' was another of her methods, so she'd give me and my sisters old magazines and newspapers to make collages with, we had a lot of fun with those and not too much went to waste. Thanks Mum xx

5. How long have you been blogging and why did you start?

I first started blogging in 2007 with my first blog
http://winterbaby-creativelyme.blogspot.co.uk/
and then some changes had been made and I couldn't get access to my old blog, so I didn't blog again until a few years later with a brand new blog
I'm still learning my way round blog land, but it's a lot of fun sharing what I've made with everyone so far.

(((Hugs))) and Thank you for taking the time to get to know me xx
